Water Safety, this is a practical course focusing on dealing with water-based incidents occurring on-site such as drowning, hypothermia, casualty rescue, cardiac arrest, and general first aid emergencies. The emphasis is on up-skilling operators so that they can take the necessary steps to improve a casualty’s outcome while waiting for the rescue services to arrive.
Students gain practical hands-on experience through both classroom practical’s and outdoor scenarios. Casualty recovery and management skills form part of this course. We suggest that should you require additional elements specific to your areas of operation that you contact us so that together we can provide the appropriate service to you.
While the WOW course can be tailored to meet the requirements of special interest groups it is specifically designed for those industry operators who work around water as part of their everyday jobs
